Boiler-Room Margin Calls at ZOEBROKER — 64% Returned
A persuasive “senior account manager” called a Dublin client every day, talked him into ever-larger leveraged positions, then used manufactured margin calls to bleed the account dry. The platform was ZOEBROKER. We returned 64%.

How the trail began
It started with a small “managed” account and a friendly manager who called daily with “opportunities”. Early wins were shown on the dashboard to justify bigger deposits, sent first by bank wire, later converted to BTC at the manager’s instruction.
Every gain came with a reason to add more capital “to hold the position”.
Where the trail broke
Then came the margin calls. The manager warned that without an urgent top-up the account would be liquidated. The deposits that followed vanished into the same engineered “loss”, and the manager stopped returning calls.
None of it was real trading — the platform controlled both the prices and the panic.

The recovery trail
We separated wire from chain
The bank-wire legs and the BTC conversions needed two different recovery routes, run in parallel.
We traced the BTC
The converted Bitcoin was followed from the platform’s wallets to two exchange deposit addresses.
We engaged the banks
We supported the claimant’s fraud claim on the wire legs with the call records and deposit history.
We filed exchange freezes
Documented traces reached the receiving exchanges inside the eight-day window.
We consolidated the return
Bank action plus a partial exchange freeze produced the recovered total.
Verified Outcome
€43,800 recovered across bank action and an exchange freeze
Warning signs
- A personal “account manager” who calls daily and pushes bigger deposits.
- Leverage and “margin calls” that always need one more urgent top-up.
- Instructions to convert bank funds into crypto “to trade faster”.
- Early on-screen wins used to justify escalating deposits.
