Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-04-26. The short version: we collect what we need to triage your case, we keep it secured, we do not sell it.
What we collect
- Form submissions: name, email, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, loss amount, platform, the paragraph you write describing what happened, and any attachments you choose to send.
- Server logs: IP address, browser user agent, page paths, timestamps. Standard web server data, retained for 30 days for security.
- Cookies: a session cookie if you sign in (admins only); no third-party tracking cookies on the public site.
What we do with it
- Triage your case and respond to your submission.
- Compile recovery filings (FBI IC3, SEC TCR, FinCEN, exchange compliance, regulator referrals) where you have engaged us.
- Detect and block abuse, scraping, and impersonation attempts on the site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share submission contents with marketers, data brokers, or affiliate networks.
- We do not run cross-site advertising trackers on the public site.
Retention
Form submissions are retained for the duration of your engagement plus seven (7) years afterwards (the standard retention window for forensic and financial records). Server logs are retained for 30 days. You can request deletion of your case file by emailing support@digitalassetden.com — subject to any pending recovery filings or legal-hold obligations.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS with a Let’s Encrypt certificate. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Case files are stored on access-controlled systems with two-factor authentication on all administrator accounts.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA / CPRA including the right to know what we hold about you, the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. Email support@digitalassetden.com to exercise them.
