Mining Nothing: How Fast Action Recovered 84% from Verion TradeMiners
The dashboard mined coins around the clock. The only real transaction was the one that left his wallet.
What happened
An Austin IT contractor bought a cloud-mining contract from Verion TradeMiners after seeing steady daily payouts in a community chat. He topped up to a higher tier, moving about $31,500 in USDT.
When he requested a withdrawal, the platform demanded a maintenance fee to release earnings, then went quiet.
How we traced it
Speed decided this one. Within five days we traced his USDT from the platform wallets into a single consolidation address, and from there to one centralized exchange that had not yet cashed out.
We filed an urgent, documented freeze with the exchange before the balance moved.
The outcome
The exchange froze and returned the large majority still on deposit, $26,400 of $31,500, about 84 percent. Cloud-mining payouts are bait with a receipt; the faster the trace, the more comes home.
